Consulting and counseling (psychotherapy) using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Ericksonian Hypnosis, The Enneagram, The Identity Factor, Psychoneuroimmunology. “You are more than your story.” Help for strengthening the story and/or transcending any limiting story of lack, inadequacy, fear, self-worth, etc. So-called “problems” are “diagnosed” first on the mental/emotional/physical level, then addressed on the spiritual level. “The Identity Factor”© is used for business consulting for HR issues at all levels to deal with personal and inter-personal relationships. Seldom do I need to see clients more than twice on any given issue. The work is designed to give clients tools to take of future challenges themselves.
Educated in Germany and Switzerland as a child, a university professor (1968-77), a drama critic, a professional actor in New York (1977-1986) and on Broadway, playwright, Head Trainer for Anthony Robbins (1984-1996), author of two books (“Once upon a Lover’s Dream” 1995, “Enlightenment is not the Tooth Fairy” 1997), Dr. Robert Bays holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota (1972), and is certified in NLP (1985) and Hypnosis (1985). During the last 25 years, he has been an international speaker and educator in the UK, Australia, South Africa, as well as all over the U.S., specializing in teaching and applying the skills of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), The Enneagram, his own corporate version of The Enneagram he calls “The Identity Factor©,” Ericksonian Hypnosis, and Psychoneuroimmunology. His focus on assisting individuals and companies to diagnose communication issues–both personal and in relationships of all kinds–and the subsequent removal/healing/transcendence of those issues led him to be one of the foremost practitioners of what he calls “conscious consulting,” a philosophy and approach that discovers where and at what level(s) each client needs help, and engages the client fully in the process of actively and consciously taking charge of his/her own progress and development.
