Mira Bai Fairlight
LMT, RYT, PTA
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga Therapist, and Physical Therapist Assistant. I specialize in various modalities, including Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage, Cupping Pain Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, and Injury Rehabilitation.
I am the only Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage practitioner in Northern Arizona. This world-renowned technique allows me to apply deep pressure to the body utilizing my feet. I enjoy using my extensive training in physical medicine to help my patients reduce pain, build strength and balance, and improve function.
I have great respect for the business members of our community. Our verde valley businesses serve local residents and visitors in unique ways; in part by melding awareness of the ecological balance of our desert with sustainable recreation. By meeting more people, I can provide education and therapy to help improve their quality of life. I believe a partnership with this referrals club will open new doorways for me to assist people who are experiencing physical challenges.
I have always been a person who connects people. Since I work with the public and have a chance to enjoy extended conversations with clients, I often find things that people need help with. In knowing professionals in various fields, I would be able to recommend their services and knowledge.
I have been certified as a Massage Therapist since 2002, trained at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe, NM. I hold NCBTMB national certification, state licensing through Arizona, and am a member in good standing with the ABMP. I am also a certified yoga teacher, and a Physical Therapist Assistant; certified through the Arizona Physical Therapy Board. I also taught the Injury Rehab program at The Arizona School of Integrative Sciences in Clarkdale, AZ and Prescott, AZ for over four years.
In my years of experience, I have worked with athletes, seniors, children, chiropractic patients, weekend warriors, artists, massage therapists, and many regular folks. I’ve treated chronic injuries, repetitive use injuries caused from office work, illnesses such as chronic fatigue, and surgeries such as joint replacement and spinal fusion. My clients tell me they have felt relief for the first time in years, and they go on to incorporate exercise and healthy lifestyle changes into their life after feeling relief from chronic pain.
