Rosemary Anderson
Rosemary Anderson was born and raised in the beautiful Cotswold Hills in the South of England. She later graduated with honors in Social Sciences from Leicester University, England and then traveled extensively before settling in Arizona in the early 80s. She has lived in Sedona for 6 years and enjoys the small community lifestyle and stunning hiking trails.
Rosemary graduated from Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College in 1989 and gained National Certification in 1992, the first year it was offered. She is constantly learning new techniques through continuing education in the field of massage therapy to stay fresh and she has been self-supporting, full-time in massage therapy since graduating.
Rosemary’s work is focused in several directions. First, therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy and flexibility; these are direct techniques mainly using the physical structure as a way to relieve tension. Second, CranioSacral, Reiki and Dialoguing; these gentle techniques access the human system at a largely subconscious level, producing profound results. Third, Hot Stone, Sound Therapy and Lymphatic massage; the use of lymph drainage, moist heat and tuning forks provide a deeply relaxing experience whilst still working therapeutically. She finds these techniques give her excellent tools to address her clients’ needs and to bring about positive change over time.
Rosemary is building a strong private practice here in Sedona and can happily work with referrals from medical and alternative health care professionals. Her philosophy is to be present and to ‘hold the space’ for her clients. Over the years she has learned how to stay grounded and quiet so that your needs fill the time you spend together, deeply exploring what your body wants moment by moment. This is the dialog.
